Some 842,000 people in low- and middle-income countries die as a result of inadequate water, sanitation, and hygiene each year, representing 58% of total diarrhoeal deaths.

Water scarcity affects more than 40 percent of people around the world, an alarming figure that is projected to increase with the rise of global temperatures as a result of climate change.
At Kabuyonjo, we believe in clean water, sanitation and hygiene for all. Because of poverty, many people have no option but to live in slums. So we’re working with some of the poorest communities (slum dwelling families) to safely and securely improve their health through the creation of safer healthier places to live and work. We provide sustainable and affordable water and sanitation facilities to the most underserved communities in Uganda, East Africa.
